LIMITED EDITION "PARNELLI" SELVEDGE CANVAS DAISY MAE HAT

Limited edition small batch “Parnelli” model, 11 pieces total (8 LRG, 3 MED). Summer weight 11oz redline selvedge canvas from the Kurabo Mill, Japan. Repurposed deadstock cotton “all over print” fabric under brim. Sewn with American made A&E TEX 60 D-Core cotton wrapped poly thread in natural. Seams finished with American made cotton herringbone trim tape. Multi-layer one piece brim w/ continuous rows of stitching, lined with deadstock 9 oz American made canvas. SFV MERCANTILE CO. & MADE IN USA printed labels. Hand applied ink size stencil. Cold water soaked, rinsed and line dried.

Faithful patterned (with subtle tweaks) utilizing a deadstock 1939 US ARMY M-37 raw denim hat from our archive.

Size medium / MED fits size 7 1/4 and measures approximately 22 5/8” or 58 CM inner headband circumference.

Size large / LRG fits size 7 3/8 - 7 1/2 and measures approximately 23”- 23 1/2” or 59 CM inner headband circumference.

Part of our production process is to rinse and line dry all our caps & hats in order to remove any dirt, starch and production marks. We then shape, conduct a quality inspection and confirm sizing. Once shrunk, hats can be enlarged a bit with a COLD water soak and stretch. Additional shrinking can be accomplished with a HOT water soak .

Due to the nature of repurposing vintage fabrics, ink prints may vary in placement.

We designed this particular hat to be treating like a blank canvas. Wear it and don't be afraid get it dirty. Embrace the patina. Hand washing recommended if you must.
