Deadstock CONE 10.5 oz 2x1 RAW UN-RINSED indigo selvedge denim from the historic White Oak mill in Greensboro, North Carolina, home to selvedge denim since 1905. Sewn with American made A&E TEX 60 D-Core cotton wrapped poly thread in natural. Seams finished with American made cotton herringbone trim tape in natural. Multi layer one piece brim w/ continuous rows of stitching. SFV MERCANTILE CO. & MADE IN USA printed labels. Hand applied ink size stenciling.
Faithful patterned (with subtle tweaks) utilizing a deadstock 1939 US ARMY M-37 raw denim hat from our archive. Meticulously handcrafted in our Los Angeles workshop. Made Perfectly Imperfect. Quality Warranted.
Size Medium fits size 7 1/4 and measures approximately 22 5/8” or 58 CM inner headband circumference.
Size Large fits size 7 3/8 - 7 1/2 and measures approximately 23”- 23 1/2” or 59 CM inner headband circumference.
Part of our production process is to rinse and line dry all our caps & hats in order to remove any dirt, starch and production marks. We then shape, conduct a quality inspection and confirm sizing.
This time out we’re gonna vary from our norm and offer this beautiful White Oak denim hat rawand un-rinsed in addition to our normal rinsed version.
The raw denim does run approx. one size larger so this will be a good option for those in need of a bigger size on this limited edition run.
Hats will shrink at least one full size with soak, rinse or wash. Once shrunk, hats can be enlarged a bit with a COLD water soak and stretch.
